May 4, 2019 @ 10:00 - 16:00 BST

Tour de Frome
Join the AoU Young Urbanists on a tour of the Somerset town of Frome, voted the best place to live in the South West. Find out why Frome won the AoU Great Town Award in 2016 for its innovative approach to local governance and place-making. Discover what happened next to this independent outpost.
On the tour we will be joined by a small mix of local town Councillors and Academicians from the original assessment in 2015, who will offer their insight into the town’s successes and failures and what the lessons that have been learned since the original assessment.
