Urbanism Lunch Hour: Behaviour Change and Creative Regeneration
June 19, 2020 @ 13:00 - 14:00 BST
We’re calling on Academicians to volunteer to speak at one of our upcoming series of our online Urbanism Lunch Hours. These events are open to all Academicians, Young Urbanist members and AoU members.
During this session we will explore how understanding our behaviour can help us to design spaces we need, and in which we want to spend more time. How do we shape our spaces and how in turn do they shape us? Crucially how will COVID-19 impact our behaviour in these spaces and how will this impact their design moving forward?
The session will include contributions from two speakers.
Christopher Martin, Co-Founder + Director of Urban Strategy at Urban Movement
Christopher is an influential urban designer and planner working all over the globe to help communities improve their public spaces; as well as supporting Cities and Governments to develop strategy, change policies, and make great places possible.
He is Co-Founder and Director of Urban Strategy at Urban Movement; a member of the United Nations Planning and Climate Action Group; a member of the Executive Committee of the Urban Design Group; and a Trustee of Living Streets.
