Planning for the future – UK Government Planning White Paper
In 2020, the UK Government published a white paper which it hoped would change the course of planning in England. Included are some quite significant changes that the government hopes will “streamline and modernise the planning process, bring a new focus to design and sustainability, improve the system of developer contributions to infrastructure, and ensure more land is available for development where it is needed.”
But what do our experts think? Join us for The Urbanism Lunch Hour to hear from two voice in planning, one of whom will support the changes and one of whom will be more critical. From that, we hope in one hour to distil some common points as to what our speakers and the audience think about Planning for the future.
