Forging Place and Identity in Sheffield : Preserving Distinction in Twenty-First Century Urban Regeneration

Join the Young Urbanist Network for a day discovering Sheffield’s story of 21st Century Urban Regeneration.

A day of walks and talks showcasing the reimagining of Sheffield’s industrial heritage and post-war urban pioneering, hosted by Rob Thompson AoU and Mark Boyd Young Urbanist.

Speakers will include:

– Ben McGarry, Chairman of Kelham Island Community Alliance.

– Peter Donohoe, Commercial Director of Peter and Paul commercial communications agency.

– Josh Sykes from Cartwright Pickard architects on various projects in Sheffield’s Cultural Industries Quarter (CIQ)

The seminar will focus on the CIQ, Kelham and Neepsend, Castlegate and the Moor.
