Event / Solving intractable problems using creativity
June 30, 2015 @ 18:30 - 21:00 BST
Following on from the first, and very successful, event in our 2015 series on ‘The Creative City’, which explored The Origins and Futures of the Creative City, the Young Urbanists are pleased to announce the second event, Solving intractable problems using creativity.
The event, kindly being hosted by BDP at their offices in Clerkenwell, will be chaired by the inventor of the Creative City concept, Charles Landry AoU of Comedia. Our speakers will use examples from their work to demonstrate how creative solutions have been used to address urban challenges, including exploring the concept of the Creative Citizen, and a new creative quarter in Eindhoven called Strijp-S.
Thom Aussems – Chief Executive Officer at Trudo
Louise Dredge YU – Outreach and Impact Manager at The Glass-House Community Led Design
