AoU Weekly Coffee Break, Scotland

July 14, 2020 @ 11:00 - 11:45 BST

Join fellow members of The AoU in Scotland for a coffee break.

We’ve enjoyed fourteen coffee breaks so far in Scotland, hearing a variety of talks from Academicians and guests. This week, Emilie Wadsworth, Strategy and Development Manager at Central Scotland Green Network Trust, will join us to talk about the ideas currently being trialled in the River Leven Project – using vacant spaces as temporary outdoor learning settings as a response to the Green Recovery from Covid-19, and how these might become more permanent.

AoU members in Scotland will receive a link to join the Coffee Break via email. If you are based in Scotland and have not received previous Coffee Break invites, you may be missing from this mailing list, please contact aou_scotland@academyofurbanism.org.uk. If you are an AoU member, but not based in Scotland, you are welcome to also contact us on this email address for an invite to join.

This session usually runs weekly on a Tuesday at 11am. You can catch up with some of our past coffee breaks on our Youtube channel.

If you would like to volunteer to give a future Coffee Break talk, please let us know. We ask that the talk lasts for around 10 minutes – we then follow the talk with a discussion with the others on the call.
