The AoU Coffee Breaks are back for 2021, with an AoU Young Urbanist takeover. For this session, join The Wheatley Group to hear about Housing-led Regeneration, followed by a discussion with those on the call.

This week’s presentation will cover a background to the Wheatley Group and its key role within Glasgow’s 8 priority regeneration areas (TRA’s) through a strategic partnership with the Scottish Government and Glasgow City Council (GCC) – Transforming Communities: Glasgow.

The Wheatley Group will also touch upon their completed, live and pipeline projects in the Calton / Barras area of Glasgow, covering their role in providing quality affordable housing to complement the other regeneration works in the area led by the private sector and GCC.

Coffee Breaks in Scotland are scheduled for the first and third Thursday of each month, from 13:00 – 13:45, and will take place over zoom.
