AoU Coffee Break, Scotland

November 18 @ 12:30 13:15 GMT

For our Coffee Break session this week, we will be joined by guest speaker David Hunter who will talk to us under the title 20 minute neighbourhoods – an opportunity for inclusive communities?

David has been a member of the Mobility and Access Committee for Scotland (MACS) since 2015. He is a consultant at Not for Profit Planning, specialising in accessible transport and streets, and an Associate Research Fellow at Napier University’s Transport Research Institute.

More information on MACS can be found here: https://www.transport.gov.scot/our-approach/accessible-transport/mobility-and-access-committee-for-scotland-macs/

This Coffee Break session will be chaired by AoU Academician Husam Al Waer from the University of Dundee. Husam is a member of the Advisory Group of the AoU in Scotland.

Members based in Scotland will receive a link to join the Coffee Break via email.  If you are an AoU member in another region or nation, you are welcome to drop in on us – just email AoU_Scotland@academyofurbanism.org.uk – and we will send you a link to join.

We may record the session so we can share it with those unable to attend. If you do not wish to be recorded please feel free to keep your video turned off, so that images are not captured – we will let you know once we start to record.
