Pam Alexander

Pam is also a Trustee of the new Design Council, on the board of DC CABE and a non-executive Director of Brighton Dome and Festival Ltd.

From 2004 to 2011 Pam was Chief Executive of SEEDA, the South East England Development Agency. Pam has been involved in economic and physical regeneration for many years and chaired the Margate Renewal Panel, the Hastings & Bexhill Taskforce and was Deputy Chair of Ashford's Future. She also chaired the South East Partnership for 2012 and was co-chair of the national Women's Enterprise Task Force.

Before joining SEEDA Pam was Chief Executive of English Heritage and Deputy Chief Executive of the Housing Corporation, after nearly 20 years as a civil servant in the Department of the Environment where she worked on inner city regeneration and housing policies, local government finance, transport and in Brussels on legislation to protect the environment. Pam was Chair of the Peabody Trust from 2004-09.
